As in most years, wildfires are raging in southern California. It’s tragic and depressing… People dying, destruction & personal tragedies everywhere. A few years back, I had to help friends evacuate their house in the middle of the night with fire all around them. It was insane, and hard to describe in words… “apocalyptic” probably [...]
I was in Monterey on Sunday/Monday to take a business partner out on the incredible Links At Spanish Bay golf course. It doesn’t get much better than this. The course is gorgeous, perfectly manicured with ocean views on most of the holes. It is brutally difficult though – we sure got our money’s worth…
We celebrated our friend Cheryl’s birthday last Saturday and had a wonderful dinner at Splashes in beautiful Laguna Beach. This is the view from our dinner table… you can’t ask for much more than that!
A happy belated Cinco de Mayo to all of you! Seems like everybody in California celebrated Cinco de Mayo, Mexican or not. I guess it’s as good an excuse as any to spend the night out partying! I did, of course, join the fun, so my weekend was a really productive one. Bars, poker, golf…
