I had a chance to tour the ruins of Pompeii recently – at night. It was an amazing experience… The darkness created an intense atmosphere that’s hard to describe in words, and it definitely made it easy to imagine what this place must have been like about 2,000 years ago. Took a few pictures but unfortunately didn’t have a tripod with me. Will post a few more soon.
