lufthansa first class

Sweet. I am on a Lufthansa flight from LA to Frankfurt, and I got upgraded from Business Class to First Class. Traveling like this sure is fun… I’ve got more space than I need, and they have a great selection of snacks (everything from caviar to Thai Shrimp), champagne, wines, etc. And of course, the four course meal was excellent :)

Lufthansa’s service is so much better than crappy United Airlines with which, unfortunately, I have most of my frequent flyer miles. I like the attention to detail; for example, they gave me brand new pajamas should I not want to sleep in my clothes.

Anyhow, back to my novel… Even though I had packed a book I wanted to read on this trip, I couldn’t resist and bought some mental floss at the airport – Dan Brown’s “Deception Point”. I am now three hundred pages into it, and it’s typical Dan Brown stuff – easily digestible but fun.
