Mental Floss

Posted on Monday 20 February 2006

Ahhh… the joys of a three-day weekend. I finished a book I had started a short while ago, and then gobbled down another one between yesterday and today. It’s been a while since I last read an entire book in a day (432 pages, to be precise). But Stephen Frey’s “The Chairman” turned out to be a real page turner. Don’t expect everything to be particularly realistic – that is, of course, not the point. This is mental floss at its finest – high stakes power play centered around a Wall Street private equity firm, politics, conspiracies, sex, all the good stuff.

I need more weekends like this.
