Newsweek has a great article on India Rising. It’s a lengthy read but certainly worthwhile. I must say I’ve been fascinated by India for a while now and have been meaning to take a trip there, but for some reason or other have not made it yet. I can’t wait to experience it first-hand.
How cool is this… a huge collection of free videos of MIT lectures.
OK, it’s definitely time for this week to end. This week in a nutshell: Way too much work – 12-14 hours every day. A direct result of all the work: way too much pizza (no time to cook). I think I’ve had pizza 4 out of 5 nights this week. Yuck. Oh, and of course [...]
Ahhh… the joys of a three-day weekend. I finished a book I had started a short while ago, and then gobbled down another one between yesterday and today. It’s been a while since I last read an entire book in a day (432 pages, to be precise). But Stephen Frey’s “The Chairman” turned out to [...]
Well, it’s no secret that Google is a pretty powerful search engine, but it may just be a little too powerful sometimes…

Ahh… the simple things in life. This wonderful little game is just too fascinating…
I came across this site called Prosper today. It’s a very interesting concept – they call themselves an “online marketplace for people-to-people lending”. It connects individual borrowers with interested lenders and lets them determine their own interest rate.
Gotta love the Super Bowl ads. Airtime during the Super Bowl is the most expensive airtime of the entire year, costing some $2.5 million per 30 seconds. With that kind of price tag and some 140 million people watching, you can expect companies to get pretty creative. Some spots during this year’s Super Bowl XL [...]
Heading to Las Vegas for a day… I love Vegas. The city just is so quirky.
I came across an interesting site today called BlogRunner. It tracks blog postings that cite articles published by the New York Times. Cool stuff.
Just spent three days in Santa Monica for meetings. I stayed at the Shutters Hotel On The Beach – what a fabulous little hotel that is. Now I gotta catch up with work and news, didn’t even have time yet to read people’s responses to the State of the Union Address… There’s lots and lots [...]
